The task was to create a logo design for a German fashion brand specializing in traditional Bavarian dirndls. The design needed to reflect the rich heritage of German craftsmanship, emphasizing local traditions and meticulous hand manufacturing. At the same time, it was essential for the logo to capture a sense of playfulness. The challenge was to balance these elements, showcasing the brand's commitment to authentic, high-quality artisanship while also conveying a modern, whimsical twist. The final logo should evoke a feeling of nostalgia for traditional German culture, intertwined with a contemporary and joyful spirit.

The challenge was to seamlessly incorporate elements of fluidity and timelessness, ensuring the brand exudes an aura of lightness and effortlessness. The result needed to be a visual identity that not only captures the contemporary essence of the brand but also conveys a sense of ease and enduring elegance. Through this blend of characteristics, the brand aims to establish itself as both current and timeless, resonating with a sense of effortless sophistication.

The cover design for a podcast centered on the socio-psychological aftereffects of the COVID-19 pandemic needed to be thoughtfully crafted. The design was intended to communicate the profound sense of isolation experienced by many, highlighting the stark absence of touch and intimacy. The challenge was to create a visual representation that subtly conveyed these themes while evoking a sense of nostalgia. The cover needed to be both evocative and introspective, nudging the audience to reflect on their own experiences during this unprecedented time, while also stirring memories of pre-pandemic normalcy. The ultimate goal was to create a cover that resonated deeply with listeners, capturing the emotional complexity of the post-pandemic world.

The imagery should reflect a vibe that is both modern and soothing, capturing the essence of being alone yet feeling a sense of unity through shared musical experiences. The goal was to create a visual that resonates with the audience, highlighting the unique blend of solitude and connection that music can provide during challenging times.

These posters were intended to provide details about our upcoming auctions, including information about the participating artists. The design aimed to capture a cool, artsy vibe, reflecting the creative energy of East London. In collaboration with Paula Parole, I crafted these posters to not only convey essential details but also to resonate with our audience through a stylish and contemporary aesthetic. The result is a set of posters that seamlessly blend information with an edgy, artistic flair, embodying the unique spirit of our auction events

Visual Essay
This visual essay explores the evolution of Manhattan using abstract and experimental techniques. Inspired by Kandinsky's manifesto, it traces a single brick's transformation into an "archipelago of Cities within Cities." Bauhaus methodologies and vibrant colors are used, along with vintage illustrations representing human influence. The essay includes quotes from Koolhaas, Wolfe, and Le Corbusier to guide the reader and highlights the power of maps.
The essay experiments with colors and forms, emphasizing architectural alchemy and creating a portfolio laboratory. It employs Bauhaus style methodologies, defining the interior before constructing the exterior of the object. Standard Manhattan block measurements serve as the basis, with further development through vertical and horizontal multiplications, and the use of Bauhaus colors (Black, Yellow, Red, Blue) for abstract experimentation. Vintage illustrations symbolize human influences from air, water, and ground, inspired by Archigram's concept of an instant city.
